Grant Cardone is the Man! Three things I have taken away from listening to Grant Cardone.

I have been listening to Grant Cardone for the last few weeks and I have found is material amazing!

Three things I have taken on board with Grant Cardone are:

  1. Don't be a little Bitch! - Don't blame anyone else for your success or failure! If someone is calling you that has a problem, treat them like they are a million dollar sale, or you or I won't be ready for the million dollar sale.
  2. Be Passionate - I get pumped up everytime I watch one of his videos, so I watch one before I do into a meeting with a client. This is the video that got me hooked on Grant Cardone!
  3. Get Attention - You and I are hungry for information, this great video helped me to understand that you need to be obsessed and not apologise for being myself and saying how good my product is! You have to feed your freaking family man!
Also get yourself a Diary! Get the best Diary in the world! www.collinsdebden.com.au

If you don't have a diary someone else is controlling your time!

What are three things you have taken from Grant Cardone and taken action on? Comment below and let's collaborate!

How to Sell to Business - Business Development 3 Major Lessons Learnt - Integrity - Follow Up - Collaborate

We are always hungry for more information, this is my first business development post with many more juicy ideas and interviews to come! Be sure to please subscribe and share if you like what I have written :-)

I have embarked on a new venture away from the photography world to pursue some financial goals for my family. I really enjoyed working at Camera House and the great team there, a very fond part of my life!

Some of the most exciting parts of working with Camera House was helping people Develop their passion for photography, be it a hobby or helping people actually make money from their passion. At Camera House I sold a service that no one else could offer and that was making their photography dreams come true. My competition only had a cheap price!

I have come to develop my passion for people with a new company where I help businesses to make money off the products that I have. I don't sell stationery I sell them a way to make more money for them and their business or family.

I always have tried going above and beyond for my clients and I feel this is really paying dividends in my 3rd season as my clients are trusting me that I will only do what is best for them. Through this I have been able to develop new business that has never sold our product before starting with small orders showing how the product can work in their business with great merchandising, positioning and regular FOLLOW UP to ensure that it is working the way I said it would.

This year I have had the opportunity to further our marketing and create displays and POS that really look professional, so far I am seeing the results of this growing very quickly!

The three major things I have learnt so far are:

  1. Have Integrity - Do what you say you will do.  This tool has been the absolute number one thing that has forged new business relationships and that has helped to mend broken ones.
  2. Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up, Never Stop! - I have found that sometimes it takes me up to 5 times to get a foot in the door to see a new client and start the business relationship, and then it can take up to another 6 or 7 follow ups to do any business at all. I have found that clients are so busy these days and inundated with information that it can take a while to build trust.
  3. Collaborate - talking regularly with other team members in other states and managers really gives me insights and other avenues that I wouldn't have been able to do on my own, something that I heard from Anthony Robbins that the key to success is to model others.
